Quality Inn & Suites I-75

This hotel is EXTREMELY over priced to be the equivalent of a run down motel 6. Checked in as we’re in the area for a cheer comp. and left within the same hour. Felt dirty from the moment we entered the room. While the hotel was “recently renovated” it appeared that renovation consisted of just painting over all the old stuff. I would’ve taken pictures but was in a rush to go anywhere else but there. While the lady I initially met upon check in was very pleasant, Ashley(?) left much to be desired. My family ended up moving over to the Towne Place Suites (which is FABULOUS). Paid $220 for this less than pleasing experience at the Quality Inn (ironic name) and now they are refusing to give a refund because they feel no concerns were raised so they could try to improve. The rooms are a good size and the price isnt bad. It is an older building so there are some issues that still need to be worked out. The rooms have been updated for the most part. The manager, front desk personel, kitchen staff, housekeeping and maintenance are all polite and helpful. The only complaint I have is housekeeping could be a bit more thorough when cleaning the rooms, especially the shower/tub area.

Clean. Good breakfast. Good bed. Shower didn't have good water pressure but adequate. No hand or body soap but we had one of our own so we didn't bother anyone about that. We called ahead before booking and asked about the breakfast and we were told there would be eggs, meat and sometimes hash browns. In the morning there were no eggs. Gym was open, spacious and had weighted balls which was great. People smoking as we were getting into our room then again in the morning was annoying. Carlos at the desk that night was great. Very nice and personable. The ladies at the desk in the morning as well.

Would not stay here again! Upon arrival, we met “Laurie” who was not the most pleasant person. She was supposedly training a new person for the front desk and just up and left her by herself without even saying anything about where she was going or what she was doing. Our rooms were not available for check in till close to 4pm when check in clearly states 3pm. The rooms were not cleaned very well. Stains on the chair in one room, miscellaneous hairs all over in the sinks, toilet areas and pretty much everywhere! Crumbs on the floor. The shower in one room barely worked. You pull the nozzle up for the shower to come on and it feels like it’s gonna fall off the wall and there was barely any water pressure coming out of the shower head. I stayed on a Saturday night for only 60 dollars after taxes and discounts from TripAdvisor. I had a room on the higher floor near the back. The room looked mostly clean and comfortable as well. The bed was mostly comfortable, and the TV was nicely sized with good options of channels. The AC/heater worked quite well and kept my room at the nice temperature. There was a microwave and small fridge, but I didn't use it. I was glad to see a clock near the beds as well. There was a small desk with plugs and a chair to recharge your phone and do office work. ||The bathroom was small, but clean. The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, but no issues getting warm water.
