Quality Inn & Suites Hermosa Beach

Hotel was under renovation while we stayed there. Can't deduct points for making things better but the room we stayed in could tell it needed it. The toilet wasnt the best (had to hold the handle down to flush). The pool wasn't available due to the construction but even after its redone its very small..might be able to get 5 adults in there comfortably.. The breakfast was simply not great. Everyday was the same..yogurt, bagels, muffin, bacon and sausage, waffles. Not expecting a buffet but a little variety would be nice. Also, if you want said bacon and sausage, better get there right at 7 when it opens. Come 830-9 its gone and when its gone it doesnt get replenished. Breakfast is until 10 for reference. Establishment is simple and not very new. |Very friendly and helpful staff. |Large and comfortable rooms. |During our stay the second floor was under renovation which did not bother us at any time. |Wonderful location 10 minutes walk from the pier, close to shops, restaurants, pharmacy, markets among others. |Breakfast is simple, but sufficient and well served.|Quite spacious on-site parking. |Attendant Angie from Breakfast was very friendly and helpful. |Very good cost x benefit

Great location. Short walk to the beach plus close to a Trader Joe’s and restaurants for food. Convenient parking and everything was very clean. Very nice staff at the front desk. Remodling going on but unobtrusive and will be nice when it’s done. Good breakfast and nice breakfast area with outdoor patio Comfortable beds and well laid out bathroom/sink area. Would stay here again without hesitation

Customer service is great unfortunately I was mislead that the room was going to have a jacuzzi inside the room. The room was fine. It's a quiet noise as well. The other bad thing is that they charge for parking....which is weird because its a hotel with a parking garage.....all hotels don't charge for a parking fee. One of the employees told me that the parking fee is going away soon. Other than that be aware they are doing changes to the hotel.

This was my worst stay ever in my life, no exaggeration. Issues with our first room:They had recently finished renovations in the second floor, but not well. The shower didn’t drain well (ankle deep) and we had to shower in the dark because the fan was so loud. The TV and the fridge didn’t work. They moved us to another room. The TV and fridge also didn’t work and the shower didn’t drain. At 4:30 AM I hear dripping coming from the bathroom. When I looked, there was rainwater dripping from the vent and the light. Most was dripping brown water into the toilet making it unusable with out getting quite wet. The water was also all over the floor. I was not able to get back to sleep and it left me a grump on New Year’s Day. There was no day manager to talk to so I cancelled my second night and
