Quality Inn & Suites Georgetown - Seaford

I stayed at the Quality Inn for one night with my son and had a great experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. The staff made sure breakfast was ready and everything was organized, which I really appreciated Janann was especially wonderful she was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. She truly made our stay better with her positive attitude and care. Because of her and the overall cleanliness of the place, our stay was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this Quality Inn and would stay here again.

Great hotel and location. The room was clean and spacious. Front desk staff was polite and very helpful. Will definitely stay here again. Easy walk next door for dinner and early morning coffee.

The hotel wasn't as clean as I would have liked to see. There was hair on the bedspreads, which we ended up taking off and we didn't feel comfortable sleeping under the sheets and used our own blankets. The bathroom needs some serious updating. The bar in the shower was broken and there was a mat used on the floor that I was afraid to look under. It wasn't the worst by any means, but could definitely use some improvements. We also had the do not disturb sign on in the morning and the staff came in anyway. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly and nice. This hotel was in a very convenient location and was pet friendly so that is why we stayed there.

I stayed at the Quality Inn & Suites in Georgetown, DE, and unfortunately, my experience was anything but “quality.” I chose this hotel because it was dog-friendly, and while the check-in staff was pleasant, that was about the only positive. The room was advertised online at $92, but when I arrived in person, they tried to charge me $174. After I questioned the price, the clerk applied a AAA discount and brought it down to $150.01. I would’ve booked online, but since there were no refunds offered, I wanted to confirm in person that I was getting a dog-friendly room first.||When we walked into the room, we were immediately hit with an overwhelming scent of men’s cologne. Had a miserable experience at this hotel. It was getting late and I decided to stop for the night to rest. The room i was in had a funny smell (similar to a farrett) but not a huge deal. However, I woke up multiple times throughout the night to discover I had numerous bug bites. I did not see any bugs so the theory is it might have been bed bugs. Around 6 am I went to shower and checkout early since I couldn't sleep and found black mold in the bathroom pictures attached. Location is fine and staff were courteous but just based on this one night, I should have stayed at the Hilton next door... Update: I called and spoke to the manager. My money was refunded and she said the room will be put out of service. Urgent care did confirm that the bites appear to be bed bugs bites.
