Homestead Campground

My husband and I moved into a travel trailer several months ago and have stayed at many campgrounds around the US. Homestead wasn't one of our favorites. It had a very "The Villages" sort of vibe that we didn't care for much. Golf carts galore, which seemed to be some people's entertainment, just riding around and around. The office staff wasn't terribly friendly, and I felt it quite overpriced. They have a ton of seasonals, which is fine, but some parts of the campground are terribly cluttered with stuff everywhere. I work from home, and we have T-mobile's on the go plan. I usually don't have issues with connection, but the signal here struggled a lot. Grandparents just got a place here and it's clean, family friendly, relaxed and overall laid back! Im at ease with them being there by themselves and everyone has been so nice... thats def a change from the norm day to day! Anyway overall so far so good and has surpassed our expectations!! Definitely check it out!!!

$117 for one night. Admittedly, it was holiday weekend. Nothing available, so we had to book this Campground. Very busy Campground. Nice place if you have kids. However, we did not. Kids running in and out of our campsite the whole day and night. Screaming, loud and the opposite of a relaxing evening. Not to mention golf carts going by every two seconds. Great for families and kids, but not for us :(

Such a wonderful experience. The campground has made so many improvements over the years with two pools, basketball court, playground, volleyball, etc. They also have a gameroom, camp store and entertainment throughout the camping season. They have also added cabins which are quite spacious. Also a fishing pond to practice your fishing abilities at catch and release. Lastly the roads area all paved where anyone who enjoys jogging or biking would have several miles of smooth roads in the campground.I would absolutely recommend this campground to anyone looking for a wonderful, clean, well maintained and family oriented place to go for vacation. We just loved it and can't wait to go back.

Homestead campground this was our first seasonal site here and we are so happy with the management and the facilities the people are great and they really care about the community. Amazing place to camp.
