Quality Inn & Suites Columbia I-70

Positive: The staff were kind; the filtered water (cold, warm, and hot), cups, and stirrers were available 24/7; and they accommodated our extra day with no hassles! Negative: The food was not that great. I would recommend supplementing your breakfast with someone from Aldi or Walmart (which are both about a half-mile away).

While the beds were very comfortable, the room itself was not fully clean. The bathroom sink had hair in it and there was no toilet paper in the room. Fortunately, there was a cleaning cart parked at the end of the hall that had about 8 rolls, because the front desk didn’t have access to any. When the site says full breakfast, I expect more than cold cereal and waffles. Other locations within this chain that I have stayed at provide scrambled eggs, potatoes either cubed or hash browns style, sausage or the occasional bacon, fruit, cottage cheese and even the occasional biscuits and gravy. An okay stop to sleep, but the overall customer experience was lacking.

Very nice and well appointed. If the bathroom were a little cleaner it would get another star. A little bit of mildew build up in the usual spots. Continental only breakfast and really not much of a choice. I saw one bagel left at 8AM and a waffle maker. I think there was some cereal in the corner but I didn't see any milk in the refrigerator.

Review for Quality Inn – Columbia, Missouri Our recent experience at this Quality Inn was extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and discriminatory. We had booked an additional three nights, only to receive a call the following day informing us we were no longer allowed to stay. The reason given was that my husband, who is a traveling nurse, came down with a stomach virus. Before arriving at this hotel, we were both in perfectly good health. Given the poor conditions of the property, it is no surprise that he became sick here. The hotel was run down, smelled awful. My hotel room was dirty, mold, smelled awful. The bed sheets were rough like there was sand on the sheets. The bathroom was dirty, the hair dryer was broken. The floor/carpet was very dirty. If I could upload pictures I would. I wish I could get my money back. The hotel safe was rude. The breakfast area was messy, floor extremely sticky. Worst place ever.
