Quality Inn & Suites Cincinnati Uptown Norwood

I booked this hotel last minute because my son had a sporting event at the university of cincinnati early in the morning so we drove down the night before. I'm leaving it five stars. Was it a five star hotel? No, it's not. But it was better than i was expecting and frankly the price i paid was a true value for what i got. I read the reviews and although it's not great it's way better than what many of the low star reviews suggest. It's not a $150-$175 a night hotel... it's an under $100 a night property and if you understand that then your expectations should be $100 not $175. And truly we got a better experience than what the price would suggest. I think people are being unfair if they paid $85 a night and expected a $200 quality room. I would stay there again if all i need

Amazing, affordable place to stay. The staff were very understanding and welcoming, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and bug-free. There are plenty of nearby places to eat or grab essentials. Overall, a amazing experience. They're amazing at understanding different people's disabilities and making accommodations for them too. They also accept 18-year-olds, which is great for anyone needing a night to rest.

Positive: Staff was friendly Negative: Room was dirty. Bathtub paint was peeling, and shower knob was broken off where I almost couldn’t get it on. Bedspread had greasy stains. The in room fridge had a rotting meat smell to it. Overall the hotel had a strange perfumy smell.

I'm currently staying in this hotel for the night. It's gross. There are stains and holes on/in the blankets. Hair on the walls, disgusting smell in the room, weird brown sludge on the inside of the window, gross goo smeared on the side table. The room was clearly not cleaned properly before our check in. They refused to switch our room, but offered to change the blanket. The blanket they gave does not have stains, however, it's got tons of what look to be moth holes. I am frustrated with our experience so far. I'm not even comfortable touching the bed.
