Quality Inn O'Hare Airport

I booked this room because it advertised a quick airport shuttle, a warm shower, a breakfast, and a place to rest between flights. It had none of those things. Shuttle service from ohare was a mess. I waited almost 40 minutes and then was put in a van with 6 seats and 13 people. The driver asked if a stranger could sit on my lap. The rooms are quite dated, and the shower only had COLD WATER. The restaurant was priced right (especially during happy hour 4-6 pm) and had surprisingly decent food, but the advertised breakfast was “temporarily out of service”. Beds were clean and comfortable. The building is old, with poor fitting doors and thin walls—I would recommend ear plugs. The WiFi was slow and often disconnected. I used Expedia to reserve 2 rooms. I reviewed on Expedia first, but the hotel has somehow cheated and edited my review there to say stuff that I didn't write; that's extremely shady and unprofessional. I'm including screenshots. What I really said was: Pros: Beds comfortable, rooms clean. Cons: Parking is non-existent. We arrived in the afternoon when most guests should have been out and about. There wasn't even one parking spot available, and the fire lane had cars in it. We unloaded from the fire lane, then left for our event. When we returned, it was worse. Cars were literally in the landscaping. They are either not policing their lot for guests, or they are renting out their parking to someone else because they sure aren't taking care of their guests. During my stay I was less than satisfied. Upon entering my room it was very cold due to the cold air coming in from outside. When requesting a new room I was told nothing was available. I decided to stay since I didn’t have anywhere else to go. While inspecting the covers on the bed I noticed a large yellow stain that looked to me as a pee stain. When requesting housekeeping to come replace the sheets I was informed housekeeping wouldn’t be able to come until I check out on Friday. Luckily I ran into housekeeping the next morning and was able to exchange the dirty covers for new ones. Staff was less than friendly and was not accommodating whatsoever. This was my first stay at this hotel and most likely my last.

My husband and I had our flight canceled so we needed somewhere to stay close by to the airport. Location of this hotel is great and they offer a free shuttle service to the airport. Staff was very welcoming at check-in and helpful at checkout after finding toxic and hazardous materials in our room! We walked in and there was a Menards bucket right in the middle of the floor. We couldn’t even use the bathroom because they had paint (which you could smell), and other toxic things that they let guests breathe in! I’ll attach pictures. I spoke to the front desk lady and they will be giving me a refund. Hopefully the pay for medical bills as well for allowing open and toxic paint and other working materials for guests to inhale. Update: still waiting for my full refund from the manager Ruby. I
