Quality Inn Monroe

Was nice no bad smell in room but bed looked as if sheets had just been remade not changed and that's very unsanitary. Good thing we carry our own. Needs a curtain at bathroom door entrance. Coffee next morning taste like mud so we went to town for coffee. We though it would be a little better due to prices for the night.

They required me to swipe my credit card again at check-in, even though I already paid online when I made my reservation. This placed two pending charges of $205.60 on my card. I showed the clerk and he said both would be held and once one processed, the other would be released. That didn't happen. One charge posted and the other pending charge was not released until I called 6 days later to report it. The room #106 had mold in the bathtub corner. The sink has been cheaply patched for cracks instead of replacing it. The toilet holder is pulling out of the wall. There is a hole in the wall where the bathroom doorknob hits it. Sunlight shines underneath the front door because the weather stripping is gone. I will not return.

The room was clean and peaceful. TV kept going out talking about experiencing bad weather when there was no bad weather. Contacted Front Desk multiple times due to the message on the TV saying to do so and no answer just continuously rang. Everything else was fine but I need the TV on the sleep better so that was a huge issue for me.

Clean rooms, good parking with good lighting, the only negative is minor... you can tell that there has been resent remodeling but not by professionals... small things, overall I would stay again.

My experience at that hotel was ridiculous for that to be a handicapped accessible room. They do not have an emergency pool rope. They do not have a shower head for the person to be able to wash their body properly. And then they do not stock their inventory in their vending machines. So you have to go outside of the facility to get you something to drink. Or snack on for me, a $125 a night for that is ridiculous.
