Quality Inn Lee - Lenox South

We were pleased with the motel. It is clean and bright. The staff were pleasant, the breakfast was tasty. The only issue (and not really an issue) was that the bathroom is very small.

Positive: Very clean, quick check-in, great breakfast choices compared to other budget-friendly hotels. Negative: Can't think of anything

The hotel was very clean and quiet and conveniently located restaurants and shopping and downtown Lee. Easy to get to as it was just off the Mass Pike. The front desk staff member who checked us in was very unfriendly to the point of rudeness and reluctant to give out any information and when I asked about restaurants in the area, I was rudely told that was what the paper on the front desk was for. Every other staff member we encountered was friendly and polite. The hotel seemed short-staffed with the front desk person doing several jobs like also filling the breakfast room. Breakfast was adequate but not many choices and the hot water provided was barely warm so the tea and oatmeal I made had to be microwaved to make it hot. Location is close to the highway with Dunkin and Starbucks nearby. Free self parking, decent amount of spaces. No elevator here and we were on the second floor. Room was clean but on the smaller side. Fridge had some stains in the back. Walls are thin, we could hear people in the hallway and the people next to us. The main road is quite busy and we could hear the cars and trucks even though we were towards the back of the hotel. Breakfast had a good amount of options like cereal, waffle maker and breakfast sandwiches. Only 4 tables in the breakfast area. Stayed here for 3 nights. On the second day, housekeeping didn’t make our room by the time we came back in the afternoon. They cleaned all the check out rooms first which doesn’t make any sense.

Last year when we stayed the price was $100.00 last week when we stayed the price was $250.00. The bed was not made properly. There were long black strands of hair on the bathroom floor. The caulk around the toilet was pulled away and cracked. The bath towels were rough. At the breakfast bar, at 9:30, there was no attendant, no orange juice, no milk and the counter and tables had not been kept clean.
