😊: Location good, parking outside the room.. 😢: Check in a nightmare, no one on the desk just gave two phone numbers to ring which both went to voicemail. After 10 minutes we started shouting if anyone was there as could hear someone upstairs but no success. Just kept ringing the numbers and eventually someone answered and told us the rooms we had booked 10 months ago only one was available so could we accept a different room! What choice did we have?! Anyway we had to book ourselves in over the phone and get swipe cards for room entry, that was not straight forward but got there in the end. Both rooms had an unpleasant smell , mattresses needed replacing and one looked in need of renovation but for one night it had to do but would not stay there again . 😊: I have stayed at this Inn several times over the years with the last time being about 6 years ago. I am saddened on how much the property has declined. It is in a great location (just off the highway) With some investment it could be a really nice American place to stay.. 😢: Virtual Check in as it took a while to get a hold of someone. I also did not like the idea of not knowing how to get a hold of someone if i needed someone or there was a problem Shower backed up Overall room very very run down.

My husband and I have rented a room for over a week and we are very upset over what should be a happy get-away for us. We stayed here last year and enjoyed it and that's why we're back, but we happen to be having a terrible issue with our card key which is used in the door to get in. It worked just once and that was it; so now when we leave and return, we have to sit in our car and dial for help with an employee who lives nearby....last evening we waited for 40 minutes til he came to unlock the door with a pass key, which they are not allowed to hand out. We've had this problem since this past Thursday and today is Monday. We keep hearing that it'll be fixed soon, but we don't see this happening. This was a rest stop on my way to Northern Maine. Dead tired at 9:00 PM and had to stop for the night. The Quality Inn across the street was full so we ended up here. I walked into the office only to see a note to call the number on the phone. I called and could get a room at $188.00 for the night (I later found out it was $88.00 on line). I was too tired to go on so I agreed. Scanned my CC on the machine. The voice on the phone (foreign) then told me to grab a key card and swipe it. I was given a room number and went to get in. The card didn't work for about 5 minutes. Finally got in only to be hit by the odor of stale smoke. The sign on the front said no smoking room but it must have been at some time. The stand between the beds had a big chip out of it. The curtain was held

DON'T STAY HERE I can't even begin to describe how horrible this place is. Absolutely the worst cheap, crap motel (dump) I've ever stayed at. No staff to be found at check-in or any other time. The stink in the room was atrocious, the toilet didn't flush, the hot water took a solid 10 mins to work, the sink stunk when the water was on, the hair dryer blew cool air only. No help from staff when asking for another pillow. In fact, we stayed 2 nights and didn't see a sole who worked there. The bed was mushy, sheets discolored and had stains on them. We were totally grossed out by this place. Should be knocked down and rebuilt.
