Quality Inn Hillsville

We were heading to HHI and needed a convenient stop at midnight for one night. We checked in quickly and found this hotel to be old but clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast, good bathroom, comfortable bed and everything in working order. Would stay here again. Better than a typical Quality Inn!

The rooms were clean with hardwood floors. Quiet location and there were no unsavory people hanging around. Guest services were friendly and professional. Great value.

The room was clean, but the smell of chemical sprays was over powering and would not let up in the room. It was nauseating. The floors were clean to the naked eye, but turned your feet black after walking around for less than 10 minutes. Shower head had excellent water pressure. There was no seal on the bottom of our door to keep small insects out. We had to remove a cricket and large spider from the room. The largest factor of not returning though? Was finding what looked like a crack or meth pipe in the parking lot next to our vehicle when we were leaving. We have a five year old who was walking through the parking lot and saw it. Luckily my husband got to her before she got any closer. This was very disappointing and unfortunately the deciding factor that we cannot feel safe t

The room was clean and the location was convenient. I also really appreciated that parking is right in front of the room. Unfortunately, breakfast was very disappointing. When we went around 8:30 a.m., there was barely anything left just a few muffins and corn flakes and nothing was being refilled. People behind us even left empty handed. The tea and coffee were cold as well. On top of that, the guy at reception wasn’t very friendly so we couldn't ask for anything. Just okay for one day, but nothing more.

The room was cold and the heater wasn't working well..we got another room with same problem. Went to desk and had to get more blankets. The woman at the dest was unconcerned. There was no waste basket. The beds were comfortable
