Holiday Inn Express Hillsville by IHG

Found this place while road tripping and needed a place to stay for the night. Exceeded our expectations in every way. No pets or smoking allowed which was a huge plus. This place was clean and I mean clean! In fact it smelled good. The staff was so friendly and kind, even checking in super late at night. They have a little snack bar when you check in if you need to buy snacks or drinks. They also have a pool. The rooms were super nice, beds and pillows very comfortable, shower and bathroom so clean. Free breakfast was also fantastic. All so much more than you’d expect. Thanks for making our stay wonderful! :)

Cute room. Bright enterance & nice staff. Breakfast was delicious & great variety. The couch was very uncomfortable. You feel the metal.bars through the cushions.

I would like to express my gratitude to the employees of the Holiday Inn in Hillsville, VA. A couple of people stood out to my wife and me during our recent visit, although we've been here many times before. I want to recognize a couple of people specifically: First is Skyler, the receptionist at the front desk—a very nice young man. Next is Holly, also at the front desk; she was very nice to us during checkout. In the breakfast area, Frida and Melissa (wonderful ladies) had everything prepared perfectly. This really stood out, as they clearly take pride in their work. The Holiday Inn is lucky to have such a wonderful staff, and our room met our expectations. I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities met all my expectations. What truly stood out was the staff — everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. Their hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!

Currently undergoing construction but nothing to inconvenience us. Rooms smelled like new and new carpet. Beds and pillows comfortable. Staff wasn’t friendly but wasn’t rude either.
