Quality Inn Greenville near University

This is an exterior entrance property so if you are accustomed to Hilton, Marriot, or IHG this hotel will probably not satisfy you and you should choose one of those hotels that are in the area. HOWEVER, the Quality Inn is a nice option if you are looking for more affordable accommodations. The rooms are simple but clean, the bed was VERY comfortable, in fact more comfortable than a Hilton Garden Inn that I stayed most recently. A good selection of TV channels, and the standard amenities like micro/fridge, hair dryer, etc. I did not eat breakfast... it is a to go menu and I instead ate breakfast next door at Harvey's. Room was not clean when I entered. Tub was dirty. During my stay the garbage was NEVER removed from my room however, it was collected several times and left on the counter of the sink each time. This was disturbing to me. Also THREE female staff members went to clean ONE room when it would have been more efficient to have them all go to separate rooms. They definitely didn't clean my room.

My sink was clogged and brought to the attention of the front office, who stated it would be taken care of. I was in the room for 2 hours and nobody showed up to unclog the sink. I went out and came back hours later and still nothing. It's pretty sad that I had to brush my teeth in the shower. Unfortunate to the Quality Inn, my daughter is a freshmen at ECU and I will be making multiple trips to Greenville. Why would I choose this hotel moving forward, when they can't take care of a simple thing like a clogged drain. I will be still elsewhere moving forward!

The room was awful. The smell is insane it smells so bad in the room and there were massive ROACHES dead on the floor next morning I woke up saw them and checked out asap. The service was good once the issue with the payment on the room was solved. I had paid in full online and they were still adamant that I had not. Finally they saw my receipt and confirmation on my phone and gave me the room keys.

Located near many restaurants. Our stay was wonderful. The owner checked us in and was so sweet and accommodating. Everything was nice & clean. Breakfast in the morning was very good. We highly recommend staying there!
