Hilton Garden Inn Greenville University Area

First time in a hotel, awesome experience! The staff are really nice and welcoming, and the rooms are really spacious and our room has a nice modern feel, while also homely. With our room we got two complementary free water bottles, although there is a water fountain on the first floor if you don’t want to spend money on 3 dollar water bottles. The elevators are pretty stable and have a small tv above the buttons, which helps me as I have a deep phobia of elevators. There’s a rooftop bar on the 8th floor (indoors) and the views are absolutely beautiful! We didn’t order anything off the menu, as it had expensive menu options and wine. Perfect for parties though!

1717 Rooftop Restaurant wasn't what I was expecting. I had family that recommended this location. My table was the last table served and second to place orders. Another waitress brought us beverage refills. One of the ladies at my table asked our waiter around seven fifteen if he knew how long it would be before our order was ready, his response was "it's on the counter and we'll get it out to you next". The person at my table inquiring about our orders told him, if our orders weren't ready or being prepared to cancel the orders. He stated again, our orders were on the counter and will be brought to the table. We’re locals so we popped in while on a walk around 11A on Saturday and had a lovely experience. The staff were SO SWEET! The hotel is beautiful and clean. No random people around- seemed safe. We made our way up to the 8th floor and found the rooftop bar. Can’t wait to check it out for a date night! Look pretty cool. When we have family come visit again, I’ll definitely be recommending them to stay here. We’re Hilton Honors members and I have to say this was one of the nicer Hiltons we’ve seen.

Perfect night’s sleep on the most comfortable, clean bed with the coziest pillows! William at the front desk was super helpful before we even entered the building! The hotel smelled amazing, it was clean, and customer service was a 10/10.. the restaurant 1717 Rooftop was also five stars! The service was top notch, the server and manager were on top of their game. The food and craft drinks were delicious :)

Light sleepers be aware. Burnouts, loud engine revving and the like were happening throughout the night. Perhaps it's a weekend-specific issue as I did stay on a Friday night and the location is a college area with guaranteed weekend partying. I know this is not an issue with the hotel but I would not stay again as I'm a very light sleeper and was woken up multiple times by these sounds.
