Quality Inn Fayetteville near Fort Bragg

This place is a dump!!! Traveling alone I figured I would be cheap; lesson learned. I checked in at almost 2am after a day of flight delays and was greeted with a room that smelled like an ashtray and had a bed with cigarette burns to back it up. Mold/mildew in almost every corner, dirty floors, and paint peeling off the walls in the bathroom. 100% the worst Choice Hotel I have walked into as a Diamond member with plenty of travel. I walked straight back to the desk and said ABSOLUTELY NOT, and got another room which had a broken heater and TV connected to nothing/not working. Called and had the guy come up and give me my 3rd room, which had a heater with no thermostat, meaning HIGH or OFF only, which left me up and down all night between hot and freezing. The outside appearance is welcoming, but the conditions of the rooms; tell a totally different story! There were holes in the bathroom door, as if there had been a fight there, there are cigarette burns on the entire edge of the tub; and the toilet, blankets, and countertop, and we were in a non-smoking room! The smoke det was taken down and laying on the dresser. I killed a roach within 5 minutes of entering the room! The , so-called breakfast; would starve You. They shouldn't even advertise that they offer breakfast! The desk clerk, was the Best part of the stay. She was very kind, and welcomed me to the hotel; as if I had stayed several times! The manager was at the counter, while I was checking out; and he NEVER acknowledged me, or the appreciation of my visiting the hotel!!!! Not goi

Very pleased with our stay, the hotel staff is so wonderful and I can tell they actually really care about the happiness and comfort of their guests (which is so refreshing nowadays), but I think my favorite thing of all is..... we have seen NO LIL CRITTERS inside. I think it's safe to say that we ALL know how impressive that is, like can I get a "hallelujah"?!! Keep up the good work here, Kalakala & team! You're all awesome, and we thank you!

We had two rooms on the third floor for three nights. I can tell that they have remodeled them and overall they looked nice. But the rooms could really use a deep clean. The smoke detector was beeping, but housekeeping got us a new battery right away. This building is pretty old, the sheets, blankets and towels are worn and showed a few old stains. The breakfast consists of waffles, cereal and muffins. My boys were hungry after lol On the second night we seen a mouse. Never seen any bugs except a spider in the bathroom. Unfortunately there seemed to be several guests, maybe long-term, that hung around the ground floor constantly coming in and out with a horrible "skunk" smell. I felt reasonably safe, but I was also staying with my husband and two adult sons. I probably would not recommend

Positive: Big screen TV, with cable that worked! Clean pool. Walkable to so many fast foods. Negative: Pass on breakfast. Low shower water pressure. Sketchy guests at 3am.
