Quality Inn Dahlonega Near University

We booked this as a place to stay for my sister's wedding in Cleveland. The distance there was not bad at all. This motel is right by Dahlonega, which has a lot to offer for a small town. (Make sure to check out the welcome center and get a map for the town bears scavenger hunt.) The staff was very knowledgeable about local recommendations. The room was nice and clean. I was a bit nervous since some reviews said the rooms were musty smelling, but they had an Airwick plugged in which left the room smelling good. The price was fair for a basic motel room. No complaints at all. Would definitely recommend and stay again if travels bring us back this way.

This motel is very outdated and in bad need of a refurbishing. Cleaning is not being done as it should. Rooms are dusty and have dirt and miscellaneous items under and behind them.Not safe at night. Poor lighting in hallways, crossing between the rooms. Now charging stations, had to buy a wall plug to charge my phone. Rating is, in my opinion, is being artificiality inflated. Would not stay here again. I would recommend finding a better place to stay

The lobby hostess was fantastic,the hotel not so much. The door was bent at the bottom which allowed air and small insects to enter, it had been pried open at some point, which was intimidating. The shower had 2 bottles of conditioner in it but no shampoo. None was offered when I informed the front desk. Not the cleanest looking room. The easy chair was worn and dirty. It is well lit for security. We did not eat at the breakfast nook but were given extra coffee pouches for our room as requested. Overall, would not stay here again.

It is an older hotel but the room was immaculate. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. We ate when it first opened at 6 but there were still people eating at 9:30 when we left. There was some traffic noise on the 3rd floor where our room was because it fronted the road. Check in and breakfast are there. The rest of the hotel faces the parking lot and pool. We only had to walk a few steps to have everything but ice at our diaposal. Highly recommend.

Clean & quiet, but I would prefer to stay where there aren't outside corridors. And there was some fairly noisy road traffic at times during the night. Otherwise, it was all a good experience. Comfortable beds, clean room, tons of TV channels, pretty good breakfast (although lemonade as the only juice was weird).
