R-Ranch In the Mountains

We recently had the pleasure of bartending a wedding here. The Lodge is a lovely space for a reception, with a massive fireplace, high ceilings, mountain views, and separate but connected cocktail and main reception rooms. They were even able to convert the dining room into a ceremony space and then flip it back for dinner and dancing on short notice because of how cold it was that weekend. From a bar vendor standpoint, the large built-in bar with refrigeration, ice maker, running water, and plenty of counter space made working an event here a dream.

Been going to R Ranch for years with family. It's a great place. Very relaxing. Dahlonega is a great town. There is an ownership issue - but this has been ongoing for years. We keep hoping the board and leadership will arrive at a sensible policy - because it is such a great, relaxing getaway. Plenty of hiking, there are horses for the trails, a lodge for gatherings, swimming, playgrounds for kids, and the staff are wonderful. It's a safe place to let your kids wander and explore.

I just had my wedding here & it was a dream! You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful ceremony & reception space. Most of the vendors came from their recommended list & every one was incredible to work with, even as an out-of-state bride. We received endless compliments. Melissa was our coordinator & we are so thankful she was! She was incredible every step of the way & made sure the day was everything we wanted. I did not have to stress at all knowing she was there. I highly recommend R-Ranch!

We’ve been members for several years. It’s our home away from home! We love the ranch. Beautiful grounds, trails, small disc golf course, great pool, horseback riding, and great people! Fun events open to the public and a beautiful event/wedding venue.

This R-Ranch is amazing. It has a little of everything there. Nice cabins,horseback riding,swimming pool,nature walks with lots of animals,close to shops,and restaurants.its very peaceful and beautiful. an amazing getaway. This is a hidden gem. I definitely will be going back.
