Quality Inn Conway Northwest

I booked this hotel for a quick overnight stay for work in Myrtle Beach on Saturday. It seems some of the negative reviews on this hotel are wrong. This hotel is great. Its nice and modern. Going from the pictures off Google it looks good, but i wasn't expecting it to be completely renovated and modernized, I was amazed at the transformation it looks fantastic. The room was clean and well kept. Yes you are next to a busy highway but the noise doesn't bother me, If you are someone who would be affected by the road noise then ask to be put not on the highway side. I will definitely consider this hotel again in the future the next time I have work in the Myrtle Beach area, I highly recommend this hotel to others. Thanks for the hospitality and comfortable stay. The Only reason I would recommend this hotel is the lack of alternatives in general area. The hotel is a bit run down. You had a choice of a king or a king and a sofa bed with the typical bad sofa bed mattress. There were no available two bed alternatives and definitely , no two bed plus a sofa bed, The most correct configuration for me and two fifteen year old boys. There were no operable controls on the AC. The door from the outside to the stairwell could not be secured. We could clearly hear the affections of the next door couple through the night. The area is less than great. Lots of other negatives depending on why I am being asked.

Front desk staff was wonderful but the hotel needs a complete makeover. Musty smell in the hallways. Shower door wouldn't close and the room as whole was dated at best. Only stayed there for 8 hours to sleep. Trim and caulk work looked like a child did it. Easy to get to as its on the main road from Myrtle to Columbia. You get what you pay for with this property

It's been crazy recently, even though my team travels all the time and usually, our hotel visits are totally standard. I have a ton of points and often use them to cover travel so we don't have to pay anything, but honestly, this one place made it ridiculously difficult. You'd think being a Diamond Elite member with Choice Hotels would get you a little special treatment, but nope. Most Choice Hotels are easy to deal with when using points, but the requirements at this location felt completely extreme. For starters, they demanded a $100 cash deposit from my field engineer who was staying on my points. I called them up, even sent my driver's license via a secure email—which they could see and take a photo of, but couldn't print—and the only solution they offered was for me to book through a

Recently stayed in Dec 2025. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Rundown, lobby smells of marijuana, insects near food in breakfast area and mold in bathrooms. We checked out a day early and have never received our refund. Told must speak with the manager but at this point I think the manager does not exist. Elevated to the General Manager. Have not heard from the GM to date. The worse customer service I have ever experienced. Stay away at all costs.
