Quality Inn Cle Elum-Ellensburg

If you like train whistles all night, this is the place to stay. They'll definitely wake you up every 3 hours on the hour. Definitely not enough insulation from the train noise. Too bad it looks like it was going to be a decent place to stay.

This may be a perfectly fine place to stay; however, we couldn't go on our planned off-road motorcycle trip with friends due to the extensive Labor Mountain fire on Blewett Pass (Blewett Pass and forest areas closed). Since we had booked our rooms through Expedia, the management refused to refund OR give us a credit toward a future stay. Super disappointing since these were circumstances out of our control.

Sooooo..... the lady who cleaned my room the 1st day was amazing. The lady the second day was not. We did hotel Christmas with family we stayed here because that was half way. We took all out trash to the dumpster and cleaned the room up very well. There was a washable marker stain in the bed from my son falling asleep with a marker while writing a letter to Santa. So the manager tried to charge my card for over $600 the day I checked out without any warning. So I called he said the bedding was ruined and I needed to pay for it. I proceeded to ask him if they had a washing facility. Because how in the world would you try to charge me $600 before even laundering the blanket???? So long story short. He said he would call me after washing the blanket and I have never heard a single word back

Inside was clean, staff was super helpful and friendly. The breakfast is better than I might expect. For the price it was great, though the. Hot water did not work in the morning.

The staff was very nice. And we had her puppy stay with us. That’s enough for me. Room is clean. I know they have plans to remodel. The shower could stand some treatment as well as the toilet, but overall a very good stay.
