Quality Inn Bismarck I-94

I’m honestly not someone who needs a lot to be content. I was okay with a broken bed— the sheets were clean and was comfortable. The hot tub was perhaps dirty/murky but still did the job— I was incredibly grateful. The breakfast provided me food— however the hot food was cold food and the milk was chunky. I let the kind lady know and she addressed it. The thing that really did it for me was that preemptively the night before I spoke with the front desk as we were checking in about a later checkout time due to the fact that my boyfriend is working in town —Jobe was incredibly sweet and said that 12 o’clock or even 1 o’clock is something that could be considered. Made reservation for a poolside room WITH pet. First floor for health reasons. Got there and was told I couldn’t have poolside because of pet and room was just remodeled. . No one contact me a head of time so I could make other plans. All other options were 3 and 4th floor in middle area, so lots of walking. Said they’d upgrade us for the inconvenience to a suite. Not sure their idea of suites are but not even close to mine. The room did have loveseat and chair. They were poop brown and 2 different colors, didn’t even match and 2 full size beds. The door to the fridge cabinet was broke. The fire extinguisher outside outside our door didn’t even have one in it. The motel is being renovated and our room had been updated with new flooring and paint. The staff at the front desk was very welcoming and encouraged us to please contact them if we had any issues at all. After we checked into our room, I realized the seal on our little mini-fridge wasn't working correctly and the door stayed open. In just a couple of minutes the maintenance worker (I believe his name was Pedro) stopped by to take a look, and then said he would be back with a different fridge for us. We had a family reunion this weekend and had several food items that needed to be refrigerated. The next day our card key quit working. I went to the front desk and the same maintenance worker was there. He followed me back to the room and determined the batteries needed to be changed

The front staff seemed friendly and after we checked in to our room we noticed a filthy tub. We both opted out of a shower or bath. I phoned the front desk and they assured me if I called in the morning some one would clean it. We went to bed and woke up quite early and my brother decided to take a quick shower in the tub despite the mess. He came out soon because the tub was plugged. My suggestion for further guests is if someone calls you please get someone down right away to check and if it can’t be cleaned comp the room or at least give your guests a new clean room. Thank you for clearing the pool since there were young guys in it past closing time and thanks for turning off the lights in the pool room to encourage the large noisy group around the table to return to their rooms.

Service was horrible. Had to wait for 30 because there was only one lady behind the desk and the maintenance guy kept on pacing back and forth behind me and my friend. There were holes in the walls. The carpet was out of date. The hot tubs were out due to maintenance and people putting glass in the hot tubs. The elevator was scary to ride up and down. Very rickety and making sounds. It was not very clean at all and it smelled the housekeeping didn't come by and give us new towels so we had to use our towels for three to four days. I was not impressed.
