My Place Hotel-Bismarck, ND

Booked a room and got the rate online for the night booked. There was a glitch and the reservation booked for the day the reservation was made. Called as soon as I realized the error and was told David, the manager was “out”. Called several times and he is “out”. Finally reached him today and he said he needs approval to refund the night. Might be 3 days before he gets it resolved. My card was charged twice for the night I stayed, and corrected, then a fourth charge was made for taxes 3 days later for taxes as the front desk forgot to charge that. Be aware. If you need customer service, it is hard to escalate the concern and no one is particularly interested in helping quickly. Will revisit my review on Monday if things wind up being resolved.

After driving three long days to get to North Dakota, this was by far the best hotel we stayed at along the way. We were actually recommended to MyPlace Hotel in Bismarck by our realtor while purchasing a new home, and I’m so glad he did! Our room was spotless, with two comfortable beds and a convenient little kitchenette. The dog walking area was a great bonus for travelers with pets, and the property had excellent lighting at night (just watch your step, not every pet owner cleans up after their dog). I have to highlight the amazing staff. Rhoda at the front desk was exceptionally kind, professional, and always smiling. Very clean room, I was impressed. Very pleased. Naomi "I'm sure I spelled her name wrong", was very kind and professional. Enjoyed visiting with her during check in. I would have absolutely no problem staying at this location again.

Positive: Location was great to get to our family and connects easily with town. Negative: Beds and pillows were mediocre. - Lights were either all on or all off, needs more options.

Do not stay here person behind desk was rude Wanted to extend stay however since it was a 3rd party booking woul have to check out then check in again. I have stayed at many hotels using ac3rd party booking and every hotel has been accomdating thus person waa rude and confretational will never stay at a my place hotel again esoecially bismatck,nd
