Quality Inn Baytown - Houston East

After staying at a hotel that didn’t have a phone in the room and dial up Internet access is better than what they had. I was to be there for two weeks. I checked out and came to the quality Inn here in Baytown. The owners or managers greeted me with a smile they did all they could to help get me checked in even earlier and housekeeping was just as nice. I would highly recommend this place cost-effective and located near all that you want grocery stores restaurants fast food Best Buy they have it all.

I’m a member of Choice Hotel but I have never seen a room in this condition at a Choice Hotel. The sheets had not been changed. The desk clerk was a very nice person. He gave me a clean set of sheets. When my husband and I changed the sheets we found a pile of dirt and other stuff at foot on sheets on bed. The mattress pad was too big and filfthy. It had a huge yellow spot that smelled like urine. + the mattress had yellow spot & was dirty. The blanket was filthy and smelled like urine. We were in town for my husband’s mother’s 90th birthday. Where I made my mistake was not thinking of the location of this hotel & realizing this hotel was a stopover of the night. I made a reservation based on the Choice name. Clean room for a 3.7* hotel. Breakfast was very basic. The hallways need renovating. Truck parking available. Friendly staff, good restaurants nearby. Pet friendly

Positive: The location makes it easy to walk to a restaurant for a meal. The beds and sheets are very comfortable. Negative: The fire alarm went off 2 nights out of the first 4 I stayed here. Also breakfast was supposed to be included but they had a water pipe break and it flooded the lobby so breakfast was not offered for a week, no vouchers either.

Don’t even deserve 1 star, this place SUCKS! They wanna offer a “free” snack if we give them 5 stars🤣 For one, the breakfast sucks, elevator don’t work, they wanna charge an extra fee for people that have been staying awhile, the rooms aren’t even worth $10. Roaches EVERYWHERE! Floors smell like mold. I’ll be contacting Channel 2 news because this hotel needs to get shut down!
