Quail's Nest

Went there to stay a night with my mother and grandmother. Online was said to have an open pool, went in and my mother was told when she went in that it was only seasonal. So after being falsely advertised, she gives us a room key for a room upstairs despite saying she needed a room on the floor level because of our grandma, and she said no refunds. We handed back the room key, ended up going somewhere else.

We needed a place that accepted dogs I have two small ones( charge $20 extra) . When we arrived she said no first floor rooms (altho when I left this morning there were still only 2 cars) we dragged everything up to second floor on DARK unlit stairs to a room that was awful. What first, curtains wouldn't close there was a 2 inch gap under door. Bathroom ceiling was literally falling down. Tub was awful floor dirty and surge protectors to plug things in looked like the Christmas vacation movie. Not even a whole roll of TP with no more . If we hadn't driven 12 hours we would have left. This place either uses one hideous room for dog owners which is doubtful or its just run into the ground. Do not stay here it's awful.

Positive: It was easy to find Negative: No running water . Very outdated and run down . Pool is right off of the main road that is very busy and loud . Had to figure out how to work the small tv in the room . Parking isn’t great when it’s busy .

The hot tub is disgusting, straight up seen clearer water at the river. When we tried to bring it up the lady tried gas lighting us and saying it was just cloudy because of people wearing street clothes in there but I could literally see pubes floating around and it was green. Straight up looks like they clean at once a year and they're about a week away from that yearly cleaning.

We stayed here because the website said the pool was open here around we get here and the pool and the hot tub was shut down for the winter. The breakfast stinks. No hot food except for oatmeal no fruit no yogurt just oatmeal and toast. And only one choice of juice, orange juice had to go outside and walk down two flights of stairs to get to the ice machine. Requested a room on the first floor didn’t get it no phone in the room to call the front desk. Just wasn’t a good place to say
