Schmidt's Creek Hotel

We love this place!! It's clean and quiet, with a pool that's open into September. if you're on a budget, it's perfect. Not overly priced, pretty moderate. They are so friendly on top of it. And it's located in the heart of Osage Beach, any direction you go there is something for you. Stores, restaurants, the Harley Dealer is just right down the road.

I've stayed here a few times, the service is always friendly in fact i stop and chat with the people at the desk every time I come by. The rooms have always been clean and stocked, and it's always been a quiet and peaceful stay. Strongly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice getaway at the lake.

The location was great! They are close to what you need (shopping, dining, and the water) in the Ozarks. The room was clean. It had a small refrigerator, a small coffee pot, and a safe. I wish it would of had a microwave. We did take advantage of the pool and the free (weekend) breakfast!! The staff was very nice and helpful.

The room was spacious. The bed was comfy. They had enough pillows and lights. Lots of towels. Makeup remover wipes. Hairdryer. The only little thing was there was no microwave, which was okay and frankly, I understand how easily things get wrecked so who can blame them? Very comfy, convenient location and would stay again.

I gave this a two because in the description they state they have breakfast included. With all of our children we look for that in a hotel, cheaper and easier on us. Apparently they only have breakfast during the week, NOT on weekends. Which just seems silly. I feel they need to clarify their breakfast policy on the website. Other than that the stay was okay.
