Red Roof Inn & Suites Osage Beach - Lake of the Ozarks

Positive: Wasn't disturbed Negative: Smoke alarm low battery sound for 3 days, told the desk the first day, nothing was done. Hotel smelled like wet dog.

VERY DISAPPOINTING!! I reserved 5 rooms for a high school conference.. rooms needed a lot of repairs! |1. One of my students toilets wouldn't flush, so they would have to go to another room to use their bathroom. They called the front desk twice, and I called once with the assurance that it would be repaired. Finally, I took the initiative to fix it myself...I took the back off the toilet and discovered the chain had come off the handle and rust had corroded it so it was unfixable.. although as long as we left the back of the toilet off we could pull the chain manually and it would flush. NO ONE ever came to check it for the few days we were there. ||2. There was a disgruntled lady staying on our floor and she complained to the front desk that the students were too loud. This place is not like other redroof inns I've stayed at. The others ones were kinda scary. Drugs and drunks all night and day. This place is clean and really nice. Heads up, hot tub is closed BUT the pool is nice. We will be back soon! Please do not get rid of the bathtubs!! We look for this when we are traveling. We have a 2 year old and I have a disabled husband that likes to take a bath but can't at home because of no grab bars at our place. He has to take showers all the time. He likes to relax too when he can!

I was going to a wedding and spent one night here. The room was clean and updated, with a comfortable bed. It was easy driving distance to where I needed to be (Lodge of the Four Seasons). The indoor pool looked nice. I didn't get up in time for breakfast so have no idea what was served. Convenience stores and some restaurants were nearby. I would recommend people staying here.

The entrance to the motel has bunched up concrete(?) so parking complicated. People were smoking at the front door. We were on second floor and when we got off there was a person laying on the floor in front of a room. Our was big but smelled of urine and deodorizer and since it was late, cheap and paid for we stayed. The bed appeared clean and the room was mostly clean. The toilet has no water pressure. Shower was ok but these motels really need to change out tub showers to walk in showers for safety since they don't have non slip floors in the bathrooms. We didn't stay for breakfast. It was quiet to sleep. I won't stay there again, I'd rather pay more for a better place.
