Put-in-Bay Resort Hotel

Hotel is in a great location. However, at the end of the year services are limited. The pool was closed, no breakfast, no bar, but still had the people screaming down the hall at 2 am. We did not sleep with all the noise in the hall. Prices should reflect the end of the season time. Hotel is just tired and needs some tlc. Towels need replaced, shower curtain was too short, doors adjusted (so much light coming in). and coffee maker would be nice. I realize the competition is limited, but I expected a little more. We appreciated the staff. They were friendly and professional.

I paid more than $264 per night, and this stay was absolutely not worth it. The hotel website claimed to offer breakfast and a pool, but neither was available. I even paid extra for a “view,” but all we could see from our window were the rooftops of nearby houses. When we arrived, the bed even had two mosquitoes lying right on the pillow — completely unacceptable for a hotel at this price point. The hallways were full of spider webs and more mosquitoes, and the employees were not friendly or helpful. Overall, the place was poorly maintained and far below expectations. I would never stay here again and don’t recommend it to anyone.

UNCLEAN! The bathtub shower liner was covered in mildew along the bottom and there was a dirty footprint in the tub. The TV stand was covered in a white substance. It brought into question the cleanliness of the entire room. I showed the pictures to the front desk and asked for a refund. They would not offer a refund or discount and simply said they would pass along the feedback to housekeeping. She was so nonchalant and didn't even act surprised when I showed her the pictures of the nastiness!

True, fantastic experience. A great staff and all of them were very friendly. Awesome rooms and room service. Fun pool and hot tub area. The outside swim up bar had exceptional food. Met the owner and his son. Would definitely stay at this resort every time we go to Put-In-Bay.

Positive: The bed was comfortable and the front desk person was nice. Negative: The room smelled so badly of mildew. It was overpowering and really made me feel sick. There were spider webs on the ceiling with dead spiders hanging off of it alond with dead bugs in the window sills.
