President Hotel South Beach

This hotel was small and older but VERY clean and beautiful. There is a resort fee but that gets you access to the beach, provided beach towels to use, 2 drinks at the bar that you’d otherwise have to pay for. Totally worth it. Or TV didn’t work and try got maintenance to our room promptly. The stage was very friendly. We were able to store our luggage in their room in the lobby until check in. The pillows were comfy. The sheets were lighter which was nice since Miami is warm. The beach was a block away. There are a ton of restaurants nearby and lots of shopping. We will definitely book again if we are in Miami.

Such a cool hotel! Super clean!!!!The decor is done well. The staff is some of the most helpful and friendly people I've encountered at any hotel or restaurant. Luis at the front desk was super helpful getting us in a room. The hotel was sold out the night before and we showed up way early because we had to disembark a cruise ship. I wish the lobby was a little bigger to hang out in but there are so many places in South Beach that are really close it wasn't a big deal. The location is 2 blocks from the beach and Ocean drive and the hotel has towels you can borrow. The front desk even offered disposable ponchos when we went for a walk because rain was impending. The room was good size for South Beach hotels.

Clean but rooms are smaller than the pics look.

This was one of the most unacceptable hotel experiences I’ve had. We booked 6 nights in advance and clearly requested an accessible room at the time of booking. Upon arrival, we were told that this was the only accessible room available -and that its condition was simply “how it is.” The room was in visibly poor condition from day one: AC unit displaying maintenance warning Refrigerator malfunction with heavy ice buildup Corroded and damaged shower fixtures Iron that stained clothing Ongoing maintenance issues during the stay. The dining area was another serious issue. Pigeons were constantly present around breakfast tables. Bird droppings were visible on chairs and tables, making it nearly impossible to sit and eat comfortably. On one morning, a large cockroach was visible near the foo

This hotel has everything you need for a memorable visit to Miami. The reception staff are lovely and a great first impression. We had a penthouse room with a terrace and it was great. The view from the terrace was nice and the room was a perfect size. Breakfast was very pleasant too which was a nice unexpected start to the day. Free towels and bottles of water were included too. The location is perfect 2 min walk to ocean drive and the beach. I can’t recommend this hotel enough
