Prairie Ridge Campground

This is a great place to stay, in fact we stayed here twice on our vacation in Colorado. I would like to add that there are plenty of Park Rangers driving through the park like every 4 hours, some of these reviews are 6 years old. We just stayed here in 2025, it was nice there and the dogs and music was over by 10 pm. Quiet time, we heard nothing and slept well both stays.

Very nice, quiet, clean, spacious campground. Beautiful sunsets and lots of water sports available.

Clean sites and bathrooms/showers. Cute playground for kiddos and plenty of space between sites. Does have cactus throughout so be careful where you step. Can get a bit windy. Fine print that we wish we would have known: you have to pay $10 more per day, per vehicle when you get there in addition to what you paid for your camping site (unless you have a state park pass). It wasn't clear when booking which was a slight disappointment.

Nice camp site at the Pueblo Reservoir. Clean camp spots with some trees for shade, clean bathrooms with showers. Nice little park for the kids near by, walking access to the water from most camp spots.

Restrooms were clean and the space we reserved was very clean as well. Definitely making this our go to spot for next summer
