Plaza Resort & Spa

The staff Jimmy and Victoria are rock stars they did a great job during my stay. I stayed here because I was going to surf the palm springs Surf club which is literally around the corner. Great location plenty of parking. I stayed in the studio. Very adequate small kitchen had everything I needed but I do travel heavy with my own coffee machine cookware etc I've been on the road trip. Bed was comfortable patio was overlooking the golf course quiet location. Super helpful friendly staff, they were redoing the jacuzzi and pool area on that side of the hotel there are two different pool and jacuzzis. There were a few mornings I was having my morning coffee on the balcony and there was a little bit of construction noise but not bad and they're done now obviously. There is free laundry and that

There are a lot of more modern resorts with fancy amenities in Palm Springs but Plaza Resort & Spa is my favorite place to stay. It reminds me of an old time hotel where staff truly care about your experience and making you have the best stay possible. It is the perfect place to stay No screaming kids running around unsupervised or crowds vying for loungers around the pool. Even the few kids here seemed to pick up the vibe and were well behaved and respectful. No crowed pool where you can barely turn around without bumping into the mass of people in the pool. Most of the people seemed to be seeking the same thing I do when there, a retreat to escape to and relax. The location is ideal.jeqr shopping and restaurants. Nothing but praise!

Staff is very friendly, but the rooms are gross. Carpet hasn’t been cleaned in many years. The carpet has large wrinkles that are through out. If you walk on the carpet with socks, the bottom of your socks becomes very dirty!! The lighting is decent but very dated. The bed was decent. The walls are thin so you can hear the guests next door. The kitchenette was average. No oven. The A/C worked very well. The bathroom has no fan and your showers will have very little water pressure. The entire hotel smells like you are walking through the cheap candle isle at Walmart. Gross!!

The employees here at Plaza Resort and Spa are the nicest and most accommodating that I have ever come across. The service is exceptional and the amenities are unmatched. We had root beer floats one day and wine and chocolate the next day. Anytime we needed anything in our room, they responded immediately. Everybody was so friendly, courteous, and professional. The pools and patio area were always clean as were the entire grounds. I would definitely recommend this resort for your stay in Palm Springs.

The front desk service was slow and the concierge was pushy. The room smelled of paint and ironically had a new bad paint job! The furniture is from the early 90’s but the room was spacious for two.
