Plaza Motel

The plaza motel has been refurbished and look so much better than it used to. It's not a vacation getaway spot to say the least. Besides that who in their right mind would come to vacation in Bakersfield? There's absolutely nothing to do in this god-forsaken town. If you are a people watcher like myself and enjoy this kind of entertainment the plaza would be the place to go. People from all walks of life and situations will be found here. If that's your mission I would leave the kids with a relative. On a separate if you're in the solar business you have to see what this motel manager or owner did every rooftop is covered with solar panels or solar water heaters. It's pretty impressive I just don't know what he's doing with all the power because it's way more than this motel needs.

This place is really disgusting. It's infested with roaches. I can't believe people even stay here yet alone sleep in those nasty gross rooms with roaches crawling on walls. On the beds coming out of the floors and walls. Roch poo everywhere. This place needs to be condemned. Owners are ridiculous they do nothing but tell you to move. How have they not been reported. I put one star because there's no option to not put a star. Yuuuuck!!!!

We stayed 2 weeks. The room was supposed to be redone, the bathroom door only had one handle so if your inside and close the door tight your stuck. They did not clean out the air conditioner ( joke )did not cool you off and they turn it off at night, if I'm paying leave it on. And then there's the fridge, the one in the room was so noisy you could not hear anything else and it turned off at night. The next fridge did not work but brought roaches with it. The third one worked better, but that was at the end of our stay.

I Love the Plaza Motel they grow the most beautiful 🌹🌹🌹, and the people are humble and full of the things I need and never let me down!❤️

Rooms are clean but Ac and Heaters Are on a timer to turn on and off at their time . rent is to much for the Room. Not only that a lot of drug Deals on the premises. My opinion Don't check in to this place. I wouldn't My friend rented a room for his girl Friend. While visiting him thats how i Found out about the ac and heaters on timers.
