My friends and I planned a girls staycation at The Wall Street Hotel in NYC, and it turned out to be the perfect weekend! Right when we pulled up, the doorman Nic gave us a warm welcome and helped us get settled in. The front desk team was wonderful the entire time. They were friendly, professional, and always happy to answer questions or help with anything we needed. It really felt like they cared about making sure we had a great stay. When it was time to check out, Keylen at the front desk made the process quick and easy while still taking a moment to ask how everything was. I stayed at Placemakr Wall Street for 3.5 weeks and absolutely loved it. Having a true apartment-style space in NYC for an extended stay makes a huge difference. It felt like having a real home base, not just a hotel room. The staff were incredibly helpful while still allowing me the privacy and autonomy of a luxury NYC apartment building. Everything was easy and seamless from start to finish. Communication by text was efficient and convenient, and they were always immediately responsive. The staff were not very welcoming upon our arrival. Our flight had been canceled, so we arrived a day late. We had informed the hotel, and they told us they would do their best not to charge us for the first night since we were staying for a full week.|Unfortunately, no goodwill gesture was made, and we had to pay for the entire week.|The rooms are very dated, the furniture is damaged, and the double bed is really small. The hotel definitely needs a full renovation — it looks nothing like the photos online.

Placemakr New York is a great blend of hotel comfort and apartment living. It feels more like a place to stay than just a room to sleep in, thanks to the extra living space and thoughtful layout — without losing any of the service you expect from a proper hotel. Having a small kitchenette was a big plus. It made it easy to prepare simple meals or bring home takeaway and actually enjoy it, instead of balancing boxes on the bed like in a typical hotel room. A special thank you to Ethan, who truly went above and beyond. Due to a snowstorm, we needed to add an extra night, and even though we couldn’t stay in the original room, he handled everything smoothly and arranged a great overlap solution for us.
