Place Resort

Not very clean, not a very comfortable bed. Definitely needs updates. Cute location and nice overall decor. Good price for the area, but there are comparably priced cabin resorts that are a little better that I've stayed in during past trips to this area. The location is more the west side of Lakeside, not very far at all from Show Low.

The Place has gone significantly downhill since our last stay here a few years ago. The ownership and/or management has changed. The common areas, which used to be well maintained, are in dire need of maintenance. The cabins are in various stages of disrepair. Cabin 11 smelled musty, was dirty, screen door broken, some windows wouldn't open. The advertised queen bed was a full size and only one of us could sleep in it due to extreme sagging. I tried sleeping in the couch..and pulled out the pull out bed but no linens could be found for it. These cabins used to be well stocked but now...not even a toaster and exactly 2 glasses, cups, plates and silverware. Next morning I asked to change cabins so he put us in cabin 6. An improvement but cobwebs, missing window screens and same issue lack of

It's a vacation spot our family has gone to time and time again. They have several different size cabins that you can choose from, they'll have full size kitchens, some cabins can hold large families others can hold just enough for two people. The ones that run the place are very kind and helpful for whatever you need and it's very quiet here, they also have a small little playground if you have small children. It surrounded by several pine trees throughout the whole resort and there are several restaurants around that you can choose from if you would like to go out and have yourself some lunch or dinners. The price is here are very reasonable so if you get the chance I highly recommend it, whether you're a couple looking for someplace quiet to come or family looking to have a fun vacation

This place was horrible, the the size of the room was okay. They only give you one wash rag. They have no paper towels ,1 roll of toilet paper. There was ants crawling all over the bathroom. I had to go buy bugs spray and spray the ants. I also found a black spider in the bed I was sleeping with. The couch was very uncomfortable. Very disappointed, very run down. Management was nice, but clearly do not care about complaints and fixing anything. They do not respond at all on here.

Because of the customer service I review this I had a great experience. It is a small operation and very down to earth. It is a very cabin-like experience, meaning fireplace with small kitchens, dishes, etc. If you're looking for this kind of experience it's a decent place and the help makes it great. I suspect this place would be better during colder months due to the fireplaces. I can't recommend this high enough.
