Pine Barn Inn

I had the pleasure of staying at the Pine Barn for several days recently. I was in Danville having hip replacement surgery at Geisinger hospital. I was a part of what is called the destination medicine program. The location of Pine Barn to the hospital was super convenient and the hospital even ran a shuttle to the hotel to pick up myself and my care person. All the staff that I interacted with were very kind and helpful to whatever it was that we needed. The restaurant at the hotel had amazing food and amazing service. The room was okay. My only complaint was that it just felt unwelcoming, like it could have been a little brighter. Other than that it was great. Shower had plenty of water pressure and hot water. The room had a decent size fridge that we were able to items in during our 8 d

Positive: It was convenient. Negative: The check in desk was difficult to find due to construction. We were put in a handicap room which gave us no space to get ready in the bathroom. The carpet looked dirty and the bed skirts were stained.

Extremely convenient if going to Geisinger Medical Center. Very pleased with staff at hotel-they work hard to keep you happy. The room is good-this is not a luxury hotel. It met our needs. You get a room discount if going to Geisinger.

Super convenient for the hospital. Shuttle is an enormous benefit. Clean. Bed was a fairly firm coil mattress. You can feel the coils, but it isn't bad. ||||Thermostat is ON THE WALL. Don't mess with the windows unit even though it's left open and will be blowing air.||||Restaurant is absolutely wonderful but cold. Avoid the window seats in the winter.

Our wedding at the Pine Barn Inn was nothing short and of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel truly celebrated. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and incredibly well-organized, making the entire planning process and wedding day completely stress-free.
