Pier House Resort & Spa

Great location with beautiful view oceanfront. Lovely grounds. Comfortable beds.||Very slow internet. No smart tv or streaming channels. No room service. Only one chair in the room (for 2 people staying), and no table or desk in the room. Seven days required prior to arrival to change dates.

This is a review of the customer service and not the property as we didn't make it due to the winter storm back in January which caused our flights to get canceled. My wife and I planned a trip down and up the Keys in January as I was to start chemo and radiation on February 5th. On the 24th we received an email from American that our flight from PHX to MIA was canceled. We immediately reached out to each hotel, car and activity group that we planned. Each activity group understood and refunded us. The car company penalized us for 1 day but refunded the other 7 days. The hotel in Islamorada and Key Largo both refunded us with the Islamorada charging us for one night but it was better than nothing. We didn't mess with the one in MIA because it was a cheap hotel and wasn't worth the hass

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pier House Resort & Spa, and I wanted to personally share how much we truly enjoyed our visit. From start to finish, it was a wonderfully relaxing vacation. Breakfast each morning was excellent, and we had the same server several days in a row who took great care of us. Housekeeping also did a terrific job keeping our room spotless and comfortable — we genuinely appreciated their attention to detail. In the evenings, we enjoyed stopping at the Chart Room for cocktails, and the poolside service was outstanding. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable. There is just one small item I wanted to mention for your awareness. We tipped our breakfast server $20 each day, and upon reviewing our charges, it appears

Staff were friendly and accommodating to requests. Location was beautiful and close to a activities we enjoy. Ocean front room was perfect. Rain shower water pressure was amazing!

The location is convenient to a variety of stores to shop in as well as, a nice selection of restaurants. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The resort itself was very nice. I liked my room okay. It had a nice view of foliage and one of the walking paths. There are plenty of chairs near the pool and on the beach.
