Pier 5 Hotel Baltimore

Positive: Location Negative: When we woke up and opened the curtains because we had a balcony. We saw 2 very big cockroaches running on the carpet. Called the manager line and were told that there is no one there until Monday. Still waiting to get our money back for the 2nd night

Location is great. And the front desk lady in the morning is great. But my hotel stay was less than satisfactory considering the price. Coming in everything looked fine and clean but some of the lights didn't work and the room and one of the night stand drawers did not close. Just rolled back open each attempt. We did get a waterview which was nice. I could not connect to wifi at all. Not the free option and when I tried to call down to the front desk that night and asked for help, the guy told me I will be better off playing solitaire on my phone than trying to connect or pay for it. The bathroom. The toilet took forever to flush. You really have to hold the handle down for at least 60 seconds. And in the morning I tried to take a shower but the water only reached luke warm. Worst hotel experience ever! The receptionist, Tito was extremely rude the entire time, they tried to charge us more than what we booked the rooms for, they never inputted our vehicle information even tho they said we were fine to park in the designated lot which resulted in a ticket AND the elevator did not work the entire time (we had someone that was handicapped!) |The evening manager Dante never apologized for the hotels mistake and they threatened to cancel our reservations all together!|Would NEVER stay here again, even if someone paid me $$$ to. Also the hotel failed to provide us with correct information about available Cots, lack of hot water and breakfast was awful, took 35 mins for an omelet we paid $20 for.| |The day receptionist Lineta was pleasant and Teyvone was a gentleman.

I am writing this review to formally complain about my recent stay at Pier 5 hotel. Despite multiple attempts to reach the general manager (Mr. Jackson), by phone, I have not received a return call, so I am writing a review to ensure someone is aware of my experience. I checked into a King Balcony room after 11:00 PM on one of the coldest nights in Baltimore. Upon arrival, I found that the fitted sheet did not fit the mattress and, more importantly, the heat in the room was not functioning. Although I reported the heating issue to the front desk when the sheets were delivered, no one came to fix it. By 3:00 AM, after several follow-ups, I was told by a staff member that since I had stayed in the room that long, I should just "tough it out." I was also told there was nothing that could be d

Tico went above and beyond to make sure that we had an excellent stay. The breakfast turned out to be surprisingly good. Once again we received immaculate service with pleasant smiles and tasty food. This is our 2nd time staying here. The only thing that needs to be addressesd is that the hot water could be hotter and some microwaves inside of the rooms would make the stay more convenient and comfortable. We'll definitely be back again. Especially since the hotel is located right by the Harbor and alot of stores and restaurants are within walking distance.
