Penns Woods Inn

This hotel helped me out let me say. I had to earn there trust. Once I got to talk to the owner and the other person. Omg they helped me and my wife out. They gave us a decent room I already understand that not looking for rich or fancy. Just needed a place to stay for my wife and I till we could get back on our feet. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom wasnt to bad at all. The hot water omg the best. TV with cable was alright not my thing since I had my own thing. The fridge wasnt bad. The microwave didnt work but still managed. It was peaceful everyone was so nice and helpful. If I ever need help again to get back on my feet. Ill come here again definitely. I hope this place stays because the people who work here understand what its like sturggle. What I love most is they love animals

The owner and workers were so kind. We stayed two says one day we paid 85 ,..next day I only had 40 i was In a very bad spot with family and needed a place. He let me stay . He didnt rush us either to leave in the morning he said take as much time as you need cause I wanted a shower . He said take your time no rush at all. Great kind people. They remind me so much that they want to help people. I'd love to work there and help do the cleaning of rooms. Its a motel its not the Hilton or even holiday inn which I've been bot both but anything I needed they helped me..well us . Showed up on time, caught the guy at the desk off guard. Walked into the room and was hit with the smell of mildew and cigarettes. The light switch panel was broken, the floor was dirty, the shower was disgusting, and the bed was stained and covered in hair. When we asked for a refund, the guy panicked and explained that he gave us a random room because the "good one" we were supposed to have was still taken. The one perk is that it's within walking distance of the Renaissance Faire, but do NOT take that as a reason to stay. They do not deserve your money.

First room toilet was broken and full of very old piss. Room smelled terrible. Was given another room that was ok. Went to dinner got back to room, tv did not work and a/c did not cool room. Ended up driving 3 hrs home at 12:30 at night.
