Hampton Inn & Suites Mount Joy/Lancaster West

Four of us were visiting a friend in the Manheim area and we decided to stay at the Hampton Inn as it was close to our friend and different places we wanted to visit. After an initial mix up of rooms, Nate was able to straighten everything out to our satisfaction. One person needed a handicapped accessible room with walk in shower and she was absolutely thrilled with the room. The other three rooms were scattered on the first two floors, all were clean, a good size, no complaints (although we would have preferred to be closer together). The breakfasts in the morning had something for everyone. The hot options were plentiful and good, not dried out and rubbery. Great stay. Couch and carpets could use a little cleaning and the contractors that did the plumbing in the shower must've lowballed the quote because the fixtures in the shower are just floating inside the wall, which is concerning. Room was great, bed was comfy and THEY HAVE BISCUITS AND GRAVY FOR BREAKFAST!!!!!!!! I used to stay at holiday inn express solely for B&G, but I think they stopped serving them in the last couple of years. I was thrilled to see them at breakfast and if I'm being honest, they were by far better than HIE. Hell, I can't wait to come back just for them :)

This was our second time staying at this Hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. The Hotel was very clean. The room was a standard room, perfect for us. Nice and clean, bed was comfortable. There are plenty of places to eat right across the parking lot, no need for the car. We traveled with 2 small dogs. They have a little grassy area with dog bags. We did not use the pool but we did sit by it to read a book. Very peaceful. This will definitely be our go to Hotel when visiting family.

We stayed here overnight for a tournament at Spooky Nook. Our room was on the smaller side, but clean for the most part. The biggest issues we had was with the peeling paint in the shower as well as the dirty chair do the desk. Everything else was fine. The breakfast was OK, but we have had better at other Hampton Inn locations.
