Penguin Hotel

We had booked a room at impala hotel in Miami Beach, but when I called to check on parking, the hotel said our reservation was canceled. I didn’t cancel it, but the hotel may have had a better-paying client for the room, so they canceled it .||Priceline helped us get another room at the Penguin Hotel, and it was in a better location, had valet parking, was right across the street from the beach, and they gave us a voucher for a free drink each at their sister hotel, The President. ||Carmen at the front desk was great, made sure we had a room on the first floor, and told us we could walk to The President for breakfast buffet in the morning. ||The room was clean, shower was wonderful, and we watched funny Christmas movies on the room’s big TV. ||The valet brought our vehicle around and helpe

We had a great time at the Penguin Hotel! We weren't expecting to be able to stay right on the art deco strip of Miami Beach because we didn't book in advance and we knew the prices were out of our range, but we thought what the heck, let's stop in at this cute hotel and see if they had any available rooms and we'll laugh at how high the prices are. Well, they DID have a room and the price was RIGHT! We've stayed at far, far worse places for a much higher cost, so this was like hitting the jackpot. The room was on the first floor, quiet, clean, had a fantastic magnifying mirror (I am now on the hunt for one just like it). The desk clerk lady was super nice, explained to us that the sister hotel, The President, across the alley would have free drinks for us and we could use their beautiful

Our stay at the Penguin Hotel was amazing! The hotel is in such a great location and about a 2 min walk from the beach. It’s also very close to public transportation to get to other neighborhoods and close to shopping and restaurants. Carmen was such a pleasure during our stay and always made sure we had anything we needed. The hotel provides beach towels and access to a rooftop pool as well as welcome drinks. If you’re looking for an affordable but quality hotel in Miami stay here!!!

This is a cool property with a fantastic location. The staff was very accommodating. We were hoping for an early check-in, which wasn’t available that day. But the staff helped us store our luggage while we waited, and promised to give me a call as soon as our room was available. We received a call well before our check-in time, and it was obvious they prioritized getting that room taken care of as soon as they could. Thank you! It is an older building right on the ocean, so you can count on it to be a little rough around the edges. But there are active repairs/renovations ongoing, and it all looks very promising.
