Pelican Hotel Miami Beach

We were in this hotel with my family. It was our first time staying in miami beach and we obviously wanted to have an amazing experience. We booked the suite (the zebra one), which was fine except the fact that the room where you go in looked a little like a strip club. Breakfast was amazing, staff was AMAZING, but in this hotel you’ll get absolutely no sleep unless you’re blackout drunk. The music from the bar is WAY too loud, you can hear every single word of the songs that are being played. Vacuuming at 4 am and waking everyone up?? yeah!! And then the best part: our suite was one of the most expensive rooms in the hotel if not the most expensive, and imagine it being right next to the damn elevator. You can hear its every move. Loved our stay at Pelican Hotel. The rooms are cozy but have everything you need- small closet, small sitting nook, and a really nice retro decorated bathroom. The complimentary happy hour drinks every night were a nice surprise. Location is wonderful if you want to be in the heart of South beach. We had a room towards the back (no beach views) which we liked because it was quiet for sleeping. Can’t wait to stay here again one day!

This is a small quaint hotel, perfect location for the beach, night life, and shopping. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. Guests get a free drink daily, not those small cheap ones either, and free appetizer with dinner. The rooms are small but all are very unique with different themes. Perfect for a couple, but probably too small for more than two people. It was a great value and clean!! You are literally right across the street from the beach and night life is right out your door! I didn’t feel like it was noisy at all, but I didn’t really expect it to be super quiet given the location. |I loved staying here and would definitely stay there again!!

Pelican Hotel was even better than I expected! It definitely has those classic, old-school vibes, but the amenities are great, the service is excellent, and the food was honestly amazing. We arrived around 11am and the receptionist was so kind—she accommodated us with an early check-in and even helped switch our room. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and quiet, especially considering we’re right on Ocean Drive. I normally never eat at hotel restaurants, but we were exhausted and decided to try it… and WOW. The food was incredible. The chef even came out to make sure my 16-month-old daughter liked her branzino 🥹✨ And the speakeasy is the perfect nightcap. The service throughout the entire stay was truly amazing.
