PB Surf Beachside Inn

I struggled a bit on what rating to give because there was so many great things but also some things they need to work on. The good: The staff is very friendly and accommodating! When we arrived we found out they upgraded us to a king-sized suite for free. The rooms were clean. Any problem we encountered, they were very quick to attempt to help us. The location is one block from the beach which was very nice for the price point, and they have another sister property a few blocks away with a pool that you can access. There were several delicious restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance as well! (We loved The Drift Cafe for coffee and breakfast, and The Duck Dive for drinks and dinner!) Need to work on: We were not given any type of handout with a list of amenities/guest access

PB Surf is a quaint little gem just a block (or so) from the water.|It is very clean, the rooms smell fresh and bed linen and towels freshly laundered.|I travel for business here frequently and there are many options for me, however, I just seem to keep coming back to PB surf. |Vanessa is the best! She works the front desk. She is friendly, helpful when needed and does her best to accommodate reasonable request. |The Hotel Manager Jim (I hope I got his name right) is also awesome and seems to always be available if you need to speak with him.|I highly recommend this hotel!

We had the corner room on the second floor which was large and bright. The bathroom is large enough to change clothes in. The location is perfect. We could walk to a bench to watch the sunset in less than 2 minutes. I took a walk down Mission Blvd to Belmont Park which is about 2.2 miles away. The walk was delightful. Lots of small businesses and fun looking houses. Bed was comfortable, there was a small refrigerator and microwave and coffee pot. Thank you!

Pros: Great stay. Super friendly staff. Super cheap. 1 minute walk from the beach. Roof deck with view. Cons: Internet was effectively non existent. Smelled a little off. No desk or spot to put bags. Regardless, would 100% stay again, location can't be beat. Great food and beverage options all around plus bike and surf rentals and everything at your finger tips. End of day, also, can't beat the price.

I've been staying here off and on for a few years now. The location is great. You can just park and really not have to drive your entire stay. The staff including the house keeping staff are very nice, friendly and helpful. During my most recent stay I had a little situation come up and all the staff was very accommodating and professional about it. I made an appointment with the manager Jim and was really hoping everything stayed positive. Jim welcomed me to his desk , listened to my issue and was ready, willing and able to meet me with a reasonable solution and accommodation that worked for myself and the establishment . I was pleasantly surprised at the very quick positive response to my situation from Jim and all his staff. Because of this experience I will continue going back and let
