I have to say I would never go there again. The only good thing is that is was clean. I couldn't go in the office because I walk with a cane & first step in is very small. Then you have this big step to get up & into the office (dangerous). We go to the room (still using a key) & couldn't get the door open. The TV wouldn't work so my husband went to the office & she sent him back & told him to call her. He had to fix the TV with her on the phone. Oh yes, the step to get into the room is very high. He would have to help me up. Now to the shower, it's very hard to turn on & we had ants in the bathroom.
Bathtub was absolutely filthy. Looked like no one cleaned it in weeks. Wifi was not working during entire 4 day stay. No remote for the TV, have to use your phone. NO AVAILABLE OUTLETS by the bed. Had to unplug the lamp and digital clock that was located on the desk, far from the bed, in order to charge my phone and computer. "Breakfast" was just coffee and donuts. If you only need the room for a place to sleep, then this place is perfect for you.
Where shall I begin! My recent stay will be my last stay at the Park View! The furnishings were in need of fixing or better yet replacing. Furniture was missing trim strips from each piece. The light switches were loose and it was a challenge to get the desk lamp to stay on.my biggest complaint is the lack of any grab bars in the shower/tub. A real safety issue. No walk in showers for those who can not get into a regular tub. The sofa has seen better days with obvious worn upholstery. Yes, the bed was comfortable. Two burner stove , no way to use it such as pans. Microwave worked well.i cut my stay short forfeited a nights prepaid charge.
This hotel is clean and cheap. And it's conveniently located. The water pressure is excellent and in some rooms it's magnificent. The rooms are very large with a fair amount of wasted space. In one room the light switch for the bedside lamp was at the door, the light switch for the desk light was beside the bed. The showers used to have friction pads now they are all slick with no grab bars. The bath towels are predictably for this price postage stamp size. There is a dorm size refrigerator with a real freezer and a microwave. The coffee is horrendous and the only half and half is in the office. For the price it's very good. The inconsistencies in quality are interesting
Positives: Room was clean with daily maid service. Excellent location near major highways, shopping, and restaurants. Staff was friendly and lowest room rate in the area. Negatives: After 4 nights, the dip in the mattress and the cheap pillows left me with a sore back and neck that lasted days after I checked out. Walls between units are thin so I was able to hear noise from adjacent rooms. Weatherstripping around the door was worn and allowed cold winter air to enter the room, which made the heater run constantly and made it difficult to get deep sleep. This motel hosts just as many long term local low income residents and couples looking for a day room as it does out of town guests. I smelled a lot of weed and saw people pulling up to a couple of rooms, stay a few moments, and drive away
