Holiday Inn Salem (I-93 at Exit 2) by IHG

Positive: The room was beautiful. Comfortable bed with great pillows, great tv. Negative: YES, the shower is horrible. I've never used a shower before that literally piddled on you. The water pressure is ZERO...This is a reason I will not utilize this hotel again.

The rooms are dated, not super clean and the hotel itself is pretty rundown. However, the staff is wonderful. Everyone I met that worked there was incredibly helpful, kind and professional.

This stay was incredible for just an overnight family pool experience! The hours made it possible to utilize the pool both evening and morning during our stay. The area was nice and warm, and so was the pool. Everything was clean and worked properly. The constant coffee, tea and cocoa available was comforting. We will remember this visit as top of our go-to list for local hotels with indoor pools. Maybe we'll add another night next time!

Disgusting! Where do I begin with this hotel. We are a small family that never complains. But this hotel is an exception. From first moments of checking in extremely strong, foul, nicotine smoke filled the hallway entrance to the room and especially the bedroom. Spoke to the Guy at the desk, he was not accommodating or helpful or even pleasant. Decided to stay after spraying the rooms with air freshener. Only to find out that the bathroom faucet was broken. And there was a dirty Face cloth in the shower from the previous guest. The cushions to the coats were ripped and shredded. The food overpriced, and tasteless. And to top it all off, there’s literally men’s boxer shorts in the front entrance steps of the hotel that says it all about this hotel. Unaccommodating unapologetically disgustin

Jessica checked me in and she was awesome. Rooms are nice and clean, comfortable bed and pillows, shower has good pressure and plenty of hot water. Hot tub in the pool room is very nice in the colder weather. Breakfast restaurant very reasonably priced and dinner restaurant also available. One thing to watch out for is on the beds there is a little bump on sides where the frame holds the box spring, it is an ankle catcher in the middle of the night.
