Customer Reviews
A true 5 star experience. We felt very well taken care of from the valet, early check in and fast responses to any and all requests. The staff kindly sent a complimentary fruit bowl and birthday treat to our room. The hotel bar was lovely, the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. The room was spacious and comfortable with thoughtful touches throughout. We highly recommend this hotel and would happily return.
This is my family's first time staying at a Park Hyatt. We rented a residential suite with an attached room with two double beds on the 20th floor for a family of 4. It was like having a large apartment in the heart of the theater district just a 5-10 minute walk to Central Park and maybe a 15 minute walk at most to Times Square. We had 2 and a half baths with this setup which was so convenient. Before this, I might have said our stay in Paris at the Hyatt Madeleine was our favorite Hyatt stay, but I think the Park Hyatt New York edges it out, at least with my young daughters. It was VERY family friendly, but also had the sophistication and attention to detail that a business traveler or couple without kids would appreciate. The staff was great. The water pressure was awesome. We had such
perfect location for business and sightseeing
This was our first stay at a Park Hyatt and it was the best hotel stay we’ve had thus far. Even the standard room is spacious and luxurious. The pool, steam room, and hot tub were great. Service at the restaurant and bar were excellent. We truly felt spoiled. My favorite was the tub in front of the floor to ceiling windows. This was a special occasion and a special treat for us and I’m not sure if we’ll be able to have this experience again, so if you have the opportunity to stay here while in NYC, you definitely should! The ONLY thing that I would suggest are better water bottles. The plastic “milk carton” like bottles seemed out of place and made the water taste like plastic too.
The room itself was very good. Spacious, well-appointed, extremely comfortable bed, and excellent shower pressure. It had everything you would expect from a Park Hyatt, and the hotel is also in a great location. I’m giving four stars instead of five because the hospitality was noticeably lacking. The front desk felt cold and disengaged, and while the bar/lounge served good drinks, the service was slow. I also went to the spa to enquire about a massage, but the two staff members there were not warm or welcoming at all and came across as unfriendly. I felt that they were annoyed I interrupted their chats. That interaction put me off enough that I decided not to book a treatment. Not a good experience at all. One exception worth calling out is Aktar (hope I’ve spelled his name correctly), w
