Palmer / Anchorage North KOA Journey

This KOA journey was pretty nice. We liked how it was arranged in a circle with both back ends and drive-through for RVs. It had a lot of nice grass and a playground for the kids. It wasn't a very big park, so only some of the sites were full hook ups. The others were electric only. That was fine with us, since we were only there for two nights.

We camped at this RV park in our pop up pickup camper. The grassy area where we parked was so nice & we weren’t stuffed in right next to the adjacent site. The bathroom & shower rooms were very clean. The office girl was very kind & helpful when I made our reservation over the phone. We had a quiet nights sleep.

This is a really nice KOA. The sites are a bit larger than what I have seen with other KOA campgrounds and the restrooms and showers are super clean. I appreciate that very much. The staff is attentive and helpful plus friendly. The campground has a covered area with seating and a grill (it’s very clean!) that makes for a nice place to socialize with fellow campers. All in all, a super nice KOA that I think you will like.

This was a one night stop on our way to Homer. It was easy to get to and the staff was very friendly. Our site was a pull thru FHU and was easy to get in to. The sites are spacious. Bathrooms and showers were great. There are plenty of tent sites and some cabin sites. The laundry room had plenty of washers and dryers. They charge $3.50 for the washer and $3.50 for the dryer. There is a change machine for you to get change. There is a small sofa to sit at our a chair. There is a table for folding. They have a nice playground for kids. We will be staying here again in August on our way to Valdez.

Very friendly and helpful. We actually canceled our reservation at another rv park so that we can come back here in a few weeks. Laundry is clean and has lots of washers and dryers. Coin machine right in the laundry. Gift shop has many reasonably priced items. Staff were welcoming and very helpful.
