Customer Reviews
Irene at the front desk was so friendly and attentive. She gave us champagne for an anniversary toast when we arrived for our 20th wedding anniversary. All the staff was attentive from valet/ housekeeping/ and the girl on the beach who sets up the chairs and umbrellas. We truly had a great time. The beachfront room was amazing and the view was breathtaking. It was a great price for the location.
RUN So bad! Let’s start with the parking lot is a nightmare. Understandable for location but I parked to only find out I had to move. I booked a room with a balcony and semi ocean view. I am HUGE on balconies as I need them. I am a consultant for Indoor Air Quality and I even talk about “always getting a room with a balcony” on social media. I am mold sensitive on the coast. No duh I always book a balcony. They gave my room away or did not have it and then would not give me my full money back. They negotiated then got it to 179.00 I still owed. I got no excuse, no sorry, only “where is your receipt” showing the room. Ironically room type is not listed on the receipt I found later. Guess they do this a TON. RUN
Positive: Room was not what we paid for- false advertising. Not anything was liked Negative: Also, I put on there that I had multiple babies in the room two of those being six month old twins we did not have elevator access
Picked this hotel because it’s not far from the beach and close to a lot of restaurants and shops. There is a trolley stop right out front an the trolley is free. Only thing is the room and bathroom was very small. We got a standard room, but I purchased a villa room through a third party site. This is one of the reasons I dislike using third party sites but it would have been wayyyyyy more expensive had I purchased through the hotel website. They do allow pets and there is a $100 charge for pets. Truly appreciated being able to have our dog with us. There is a $100 retunrable deposit and we paid $50 to check in early. The room was small but we would still stay here again.
We hosted our annual Executive Leadership Retreat at the Pacific Edge Hotel, Driftwood, and the Deck. The experience was exceptional. The location is unbeatable—oceanfront with a spectacular view from our meeting space. Catering was provided by The Driftwood Restaurant, one of the best in Laguna Beach, and the food quality exceeded our expectations. For our sunset dinner party, we rented a bungalow at The Deck, which created the perfect ambiance. The overall cost for the conference, venue, and catering was extremely reasonable. Christina and Michelle supported us from start to finish and were amazing at helping us stay within budget. The entire staff at Pacific Edge, Driftwood, and The Deck was fantastic. This is truly the perfect spot for any corporate meeting or event.
