Opal Key Resort & Marina

My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights and had an excellent stay. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had an ocean front 1 bedroom suite and it was a fantastic room (Room 301). Lots of space, two balconies, great views. I’ve seen some reviews and comments about extra fees and unexpected charges. When I booked online the webpage was very clear about the resort fee and parking rates. There was nothing unexpected on my bill. Everything was detailed and correct. Next time we are in Key West we will definitely stay here again. We were very impressed.

Had a great trip. Everyone that we spoke to that worked there was great. The Fury rep Ian was so nice to chat with and set us up for success. Our bartender Yaya made our time at the pool. Rooms were clean and we will absolutely be back! Thank you so much!

We stayed in Opal Key Resorts & Marina as a family of 3 (2 adults and a kid). The stay was fantastic - we had an ocean facing room. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming - they made our stay really speacial with complimentary gifts, which we appreciated a lot. They went out of their way to make our stay memorable. |The rooms are fantastic - we had one of the best view of Key West sunset from our patio! They are very spacious, clean and well appointed, with enough water, coffee etc. provided on a regular basis. The rooms are right on the Mallory Square boardwalk, giving us a fantastic view of the boardwalk as well. The only downside is that cruiseships are frequently parked during the day on the marina - but they always leave before sunset. |We loved eating at Lolita's - the

Great location, able to watch sunsets from our room. Big plus not having to deal with crowds at Mallory square. Cruise ships dock in front of hotel, no big deal as they are gone by 4pm, and it's fun watching them dock the ship in the morning. Extremely courteous and helpful staff that attend to your every need.

Positive: The pool and bar. Negative: Food was meh. Centipedes everywhere. Room smelled like cleaning solutions. Resort Fees. Shower not equipped for seniors.
