Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park

In town for the Peach Bowl.|Great stay, great location and walking distance to stadium, attractions etc. What I wasn’t expecting and surprised by was the hospitality. Tons of staff, greeted immediately at taxi arrival, staff always around to provide directions and assistance,easy quick checkin, a bar, a coffee place, all inside. To top it off after walking back from the bowl game 1130pm in rain, enter hotel and greeted again immediately with a bottle of water, a electrolyte stick and a towel to dry off. Outstanding service! Additionally liked having room service card for breakfast pick what you want and time, attach to door and breakfast will be brought next day. Room with balcony overlooking Centennial Park. Will stay here again.

The negatives are there is no hand soap in the bathrooms. The front desk won’t call you a taxi or help with transportation. No one helps you with your luggage fron the taxi. To get a door dash order you have to hunt down the location and it’s basically outside just sitting unguarded on a corner table near the parking garage. They make you pay an additions charge of $10 a day to use their wifi. I booked through delta so my price was good but the website was three times as much. For a high end hotel I would expect assistance with these things. The rooms are clean. The view from the premium room with a view was good. The temperature in the rooms was easily regulated. Positive: Front desk clear at check-in was very pleasant and accommodating. Negative: The housekeeping cleaned my room on day one BUT failed to replenish soap/shower gel. I had to call the Front Desk (the response time was great) for soap in order for me to shower after a long day at my conference.

Disclaimer: This review reflects my personal perspective based on my experience traveling in Europe. I stayed at this hotel for only one night because the hotel I had originally booked did not have a room available for me upon arrival. As a result, my experience with this property was quite brief, and I may not have had the opportunity to fully experience all it offers. One initial challenge was finding the proper entrance to the hotel. It may have been due to jet lag, but the only way I could find to enter and exit the building was through the parking area, which was somewhat confusing. My room itself was spacious and clean, which I appreciated. However, the refrigerator was completely empty, and I was unable to connect to complimentary Wi-Fi. I am very upset at the Omni Hotel at this location. I have visited this hotel about 10 times over the years, and is my preferred location for business meetings. I booked for a stay the first 4 night of May this year about a month ago for a business event. The event was canceled, so I called Omni to cancel my reservation. Even though I am canceling more then 2 months ahead of stay, Omni is keeping my $1300. I find this to be very bad customer relations to a repeat visitor and rewards member. I have no doubt Omni will fill the room and get paid twice. In hindsight, since I was losing the money, I should have never canceled the reservation, or least given it to a homeless family. But I was told if I cancel, I can use a credit for a future stay, but after I did this, I was told I can not use a
