Old Highway 41 #3 Campground

We love this campground! It very quiet and some sits feel remote, especially sites 49 and 50. These two have to be rented together. It feels like you have the whole back side of the lake to yourself. A really pretty site right on the bank of the lake. Easy access to the lake

Please read.. I recommend previewing this place in person but if you can't do that PARKING and unhooking your RV then taking a ride though the campground before attempting to back your rv into your site. You will thank me later. Do not rely on that map. I want to help you avoid about an hour of sweating bullets trying to back up a very long way on a narrow street with no shoulder and DEAD ENDS with NO way to turn around. Don't trust the map. Do not trust THE MAP. DRIVE THROUGH FIRST. There is no room for error here folks. Waterfront sites are nice once you get settled and you can relax the nerves with a glass of wine after trying to park your rv. Highway noise is def a thing so if that is an issue for you maybe stay elsewhere. It was also grown up a bit compared to other campgroun

If you're looking for a laid-back getaway close to the city where you can get some much needed R&R or spend some quality time with the family, then keep on looking! We stayed in site #30 for the weekend and were, unfortunately, disappointed overall with this campground. Our site was located near the water, but this area is EXTREMELY busy, so boats and jet skis could be heard from sun up to sun down. There is a YMCA camp directly across the water from this spot, so there was the added noise from that, as well. The worst part for us, and this might have just been the luck of the weekend we went, but two of the sites around us were occupied by a very large group that appeared to exceed the guest limit and the other site had people clearly partaking in the use of recreational (?) substance

The host was very nice. The site was clean .I wouldn't know about any other noise other than the interstate because it was so loud. I couldn't sleep and I can't even hear birds outside. my husband can tune it out I can't. We are at site 14.
