Clark Creek South Campground

The sites are very small and very close to each other to the point you have to listen to your neighbor's conversations if they are not respectful people. The rules are not enforced whatsoever. There is not a quiet time. It was so bad we actually bought ear plugs at the local Dollar Tree on Saturday. I never thought I would wear EAR PLUGS at a campground to sleep. The music, the partying, the yelling was ridiculous considering it would last way into the early morning hours 3/4am. Some people I don't even think slept! A camper out of site below us went speeding out to the gate about 11:00pm Saturday night and brought 2 cars in with him. One went out, three came in! Gate is supposed to be locked to outside visitors at 10pm. This rule is not enforced. They drive up to open it from the inside t

The camping areas were nice. There was what look like an abandoned tent and car just down from where I was staying. That was kind of sketchy. I left really early in the morning. The gate did not open for me on the first attempt. I circled back around and called the campground host with no answer. I approached the gate the second time and it opened

First time visit, we stayed at campsite #9 for just one night. Beautiful site and amazing hosts. Becky, Jeff, and Gerald told us all about the campground and surrounding areas. Provided an extension drop cord for us for power, and also patches for our punctured air mattress. Thank you! Bathrooms were spotless and even had quality TP in them. Amazing experience. We will be back soon!

Great camp host!! Evan is friendly and professional. I really don't care for bathrooms being smoked in..just nasty to try to shower etc in that smell.

Totally exceeded our expectations! We booked tent campsite #38. Amazing views of the lake and sunset/rise. The grounds were very well maintained. It felt private and secluded. The tent sites had pea gravel and a flat area with a grill grate over the fire for easy cooking! We will be coming back. The gentleman at the check-in booth was also very friendly and helpful.
