Okeechobee Motel & RV Park

The new management was very rube and was very disrespectful.I hope that the owner does something about it.The only good thing that was good about when I stayed was the women who cleaned my room.She was very nice and respectful.Her name was Kay. She would be the only reason I ever go back there.

I visited this motel years ago when it was run by some hippies who lived in a purple school bus and a 2 story mobile home - it was certainly the bright spot in all of Okeechobee. I remember they were vegetarian and ran a fishing motel. I still find that entertaining. We had a great time staying there and while they were not into fishing - they certainly did their best to make everyone feel welcome.

A hidden gem in Okeechobee. Is the best way I can describe it. Showed up to town for work with no place to stay. And not even an idea where to begin looking. Was told to drive around the lake there were many places to rent. Which is true. But not many nice places. Pulled in the Okeechobee motel and was greated by friendly staff. And wonderful accommodations. Has been a great stay so far. And anyone looking for a reasonable reasonably priced place to say. I suggest you try it out.

The new owner has really improved this place. Nice quiet relaxing motel. & They actually have a maintenance man that works & is very courteous & helpful. & The rates r the best in Okeechobee.

Very quiet and affordable, owner worked very hard to transform this fishing camp into a decent place to stay on short or long term. Some RV spots available and more RV spots are coming soon. Great access to canal for fishing at the lake or just sit by the pier in the back of the park. J.P.
